PITRADIO / PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
Raw telemetry stays on your computer by default. This page explains what information is processed for accounts, cloud speech, and optional feedback, and how you can manage it.

Developer and contact details
PitRadio is maintained by its developer, an individual based in Hong Kong. This policy covers the desktop app, website, and supporting services. Please use the email address below for privacy questions and data requests. No other public contact channel is currently available.
Data on your computer
Raw GT7 telemetry, driving traces, and .gttr recordings are stored on your computer by default and are not automatically uploaded with cloud speech requests. Settings, replays, and local logs support connections, analysis, and troubleshooting. You manage these files yourself; consider the driving history they may contain before deleting, exporting, or sharing them.
Accounts, beta applications, and voice access
To prevent service abuse, some features, including voice callouts, require you to sign in and have valid authorization. We process your username, email address, password authentication data, login sessions, beta applications, approval decisions, and authorization records for authentication, service administration, and security. Session data may include your IP address and browser information. Features such as telemetry viewing do not require sign-in.
Cloud speech and audio caching
Callouts played on your computer or over Discord use cloud-generated speech. Callout text, language, and task parameters are processed as needed. The speech synthesis service does not receive raw telemetry, recordings, or account identity information. Full-sentence audio that contains no personally identifying information may be cached and reused, subject to storage and expiration limits.
Discord sign-in and PlayStation audio
When you sign in with Discord or link your account, we process the Discord identity, email address, and necessary server information you authorize us to access. PlayStation audio setup also involves servers, voice channels, permissions, and connection status. Engineer audio is delivered through Discord to your selected channel. Login credentials and connection settings are stored for those purposes and are not sent to the speech provider. PitRadio does not currently support microphone questions, speech transcription, or call recording. Discord handles data under its own privacy policy.
Optional diagnostics and individual issue reports
Continuous diagnostic uploads are off by default. Necessary runtime summaries are uploaded only with your separate consent and when the service is enabled. Each issue report asks you to confirm the description, time, version, anonymous installation/session identifiers, and any available trace identifier (Trace ID). Submitting a report does not authorize ongoing collection. Feedback records expire after 30 days and are removed by periodic cleanup, rather than immediately upon expiration. At this stage, raw audio, full callout text, log files, and recordings are not uploaded automatically. Remote diagnostics in the production environment must be enabled separately; publishing this page does not enable them.
Website visits, cookies, and fonts
The website uses essential sign-in cookies to maintain your session. Manually changing the language saves a preference cookie for one year. Clearing cookies removes the corresponding browser state but does not delete your account on the server. The website currently uses no advertising or behavioral analytics scripts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and those requests send network information to Google. Website hosting and security services may also process IP addresses, browser information, and request details.
Third-party services and data processing locations
Third-party services provide speech synthesis, website hosting, and network protection. Sign-in, channel audio, and external fonts also use related services. Necessary information may be processed in different countries or regions. Local-first does not mean all data is processed only in Hong Kong; third parties may also retain information under their own policies.
Data retention and deletion
Local raw data is not deleted automatically; you export or remove it yourself. Account, beta, authorization, and audit records on the server support service delivery, requests, and security. There is currently no automatic or self-service account deletion. Feedback records are removed through periodic cleanup under the 30-day expiration rule above. Audio caches have storage and expiration limits. Retention periods for continuous diagnostic data will be explained before those uploads are enabled, with the required consent.
Your choices and data requests
You can use features that do not require sign-in without registering, leave Discord unconfigured, turn off continuous diagnostic uploads, and choose whether to submit each issue report. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, email the developer. We will verify the necessary identity information and handle requests in line with applicable requirements. Clearing cookies, signing out, or uninstalling the app does not automatically delete account data. Requests about information held independently by third parties should also be made through their own channels.
Policy changes
We will update this page and the date above when our data processing practices change. Publishing this policy does not authorize new optional diagnostics, audio input, or other features outside the current scope.
