PITRADIO / TERMS
Usage Rules
PitRadio is a GT7 companion app maintained by an individual. This page explains the public beta’s usage rules, voice access requirements, and the scope of its game assistance.
Updated
The project and public beta
PitRadio is maintained by its developer, an individual based in Hong Kong. The beta is still being developed and may have bugs, data loss, compatibility issues, or feature changes. Keep backups of important recordings. The current beta experience is not a commitment to future features, compatibility, or service duration.
Free beta and voice access
The public beta is free. Pricing after the beta has not been announced. Registering or downloading the app does not automatically grant voice access. Callouts on your computer, voice previews, and Discord callouts require sign-in and valid authorization. Voice access can be granted, extended, or disabled through beta administration, and it may expire. Features such as telemetry viewing remain available without sign-in. Any future pricing arrangements will be explained separately.
Game assistance only
PitRadio is intended only to assist with Gran Turismo 7, not real-world driving, safety systems, or professional vehicle diagnostics. Calculations such as remaining fuel laps are estimates. Vehicle-state callouts depend on available telemetry, detection rules, and announcement timing. Use your own judgment during races. Planned features such as advanced driving guidance, reference-lap comparisons, and pit strategy are not currently available.
Acceptable use and account security
Keep your login credentials secure. Do not impersonate others or the project, bypass voice authorization, misuse APIs, channels, or service resources, or upload sensitive information you have no right to provide. Before entering a race, league, or online event, check whether the organizer allows this type of assistance, and follow the game, platform, and event rules.
Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party services and are subject to their terms. Availability may be affected by connectivity or changes to those services. See the privacy policy for related data processing.
Project content, branding, and third-party licenses
PitRadio content and branding, and third-party open-source components, are subject to their respective rights and licenses. This page does not affect rights granted under third-party software licenses. The acknowledgments page does not mean PitRadio’s own source code is open source, nor does it grant additional rights to the project’s code or branding. Gran Turismo, PlayStation, and PSVR2 names are used only to describe compatibility.
Updates and contact
We will update this page and its date when the usage rules or beta scope change. Contact the developer with questions about the rules, authorization, or the project. For data processing questions, use the contact details in the privacy policy.
